Penn-Trafford Area Recreation Commission (PTARC): Rentals

FACILITY RENTAL

The Penn-Trafford Area Recreation Commission owns and operates the following facilities which are available for rental purposes. Details on each facility are provided below. To request a facility rental, call 724-744-2171 ext 204 or 205 or use this form.

Cancellation notice for any facility rental must be received at least three weeks prior to the scheduled rental date for refund. $30 cancellation fee. Report any damage or malfunctions to 724-744-2171 ext. 205 or 204 immediately.

PTARC/Shelley Proskin Recreation Center

Hours Available: 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m., Sunday through Thursday; 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday; Closed Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

Seating for 100. Handicapped accessible. Non-smoking.

Banquet Room – Maximum occupancy 149
$30/hour event time (example: party time 1:00-4:00 pm=$90)
$50 minimum

Security deposit required for all rentals: $100 (security deposit check destroyed upon
successful facility inspection and key return)

Person responsible for rental must be at least 18 years of age.

All decorations, tablecloths, food, and paper products must be removed and trash must be deposited in the dumpster. Bring trash bags, dish rags, towels, and cleaners for cleaning up. Wipe clean tables, counters, and sink. Return tables to original positions. Please carry tables; do not drag them across the floor. Remove all items brought into the building. Turn off all lights and lock doors before leaving. Glitter and confetti are prohibited. No glass bottles. Re-set thermostat to initial temperature. Clean floor.

Violation of above procedure will result in the loss of your security deposit and/or the forfeiture of the privilege of using the building in the future.

Penn-Trafford area non-profit organizations receive a 20% discount of rental fee.
Non-residents of the Penn-Trafford School District pay an additional 20% rental fee.

Hours available: Monday through Friday, 4:00 - 9:00 p.m.; Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.; Sundays, 12:00 noon - 9:00 p.m.

Weekdays - $10 per evening
Weekends - $10 per hour

All trash must be removed and deposited in the dumpster.

PTARC Soccer Field
PTARC Park at Sunrise, Government Road, Irwin Rent now!

Hours available: Monday through Friday, 4:00 - 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.; Sundays, 12:00 noon - 9:00 p.m.

Weekdays - $10 per evening
Weekends - $10 per hour

All trash must be removed and deposited in the dumpster.
