MULTI-GENERATIONAL ACTIVITIES

Basic Bike Tune-up & Safety Check - All Ages

Bike season is around the corner. Do you know how to do a safety check to keep your bike in good riding condition? This class will cover how to change the inner tube, adjust the brakes, shifters and gears, perform general maintenance and what essential tools to carry for quick repairs on the trial. Bring your bike and a bike stand if you wish!

The Electronic Hobbyists Society - Ages 13 & up

Help us start a new hobbyist community! We start with a basic introduction to electronics and then begin the hands-on learning and the creation of new and exciting projects. Projects will range from robots and game machines to fun devices. The group discusses and decides future projects. No previous experience necessary! All ability and knowledge levels welcome. Projects are estimated to last between 6-8 weeks.

Dogs & Storks - Ages 14 & up

Dogs and Storks offers positive, practical and fun solutions for families preparing for baby. This program clears up myths, emphasizes realistic expectations and sets families and their dogs up for success before baby arrives. Please bring paper and pen.

The Dog & Baby Connection - Ages 14 & up

The Dog and baby Connection is the perfect program for all dog loving families with a baby or toddler. Designed by a certified dog behaviorist and a mother of 4, this course offers positive and practical dog and baby friendly solutions to help increase safety and fun, and emphasize the importance of including the family dog in a safe manner.

Welcome to the Dog Park! - Ages 14 & up

Penn Township is building a dog park within the Penn Township Municipal Park and many other communities are adding dog parks to their parks. This class will help your visit be a fun and safe one for you and your dog. With visual guides you will learn different styles of dog play, dog-to-dog play, dog personalities and safety.
