BUSHY RUN TRAIL RUN/WALK -- The 4th Annual 5K Bushy Run Trail Run/Walk will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2008. Click here for the brochure. Proceeds benefit the renovations at the PTARC / Shelley Proskin Recreation Center.

PTARC/SHELLEY PROSKIN RECREATION CENTER -- Route 130 & Murrysville Road, Level Green. UPPER LEVEL NOW OPEN! Large multi-purpose room seating up to 149 and full kitchen. Available 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m., Friday & Saturday, for parties, showers, celebrations, meetings, meals, speakers! May be partitioned into 2 or 3 separate rooms seating 75 or 50 each. Click here for more information about our facilities available for rent.

Who We Are

PTARC (Penn-Trafford Area Recreation Commission) is a nonprofit, PA DCNR-funded, intergovernmental organization providing residents of the Penn-Trafford School District in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, with the opportunity for life-long learning, fitness, and fun through wholesome, affordable, recreational activities and safe, appealing facilities.

Three brochures are published per year -- fall, winter/spring, and summer. Brochures are mailed directly to each resident in the Penn-Trafford School District. Current offerings are also shown on this web site, www.ptarc.org.
