When it comes to exercise, most of us cringe and do it because we are told it is good for us. For Stacia Vallo, it is a way of life. Being certified in dance, exercise and ISSA Personal Training, she spends most of every day teaching someone how to take care of themselves better. She describes her teaching style as using a big emphasis on a light-hearted jovial class as opposed to drill sergeant. Stacia has taught for PTARC for eight years, in addition to raising her three children. This human energizer bunny does decorative painting as well.

The Trust for Public Land conducted a study on the economic value of city park systems and found that parks can contribute to the value of residential properties immediately adjacent to a park by as much as a 20 percent marginal value!

Dog Park
The new dog park has separate small breed and large breed areas. All dogs must display a current license, vaccination tag and ID tag. Dogs must be under control of an adult 18 years of age or older and there is a limit of two dogs per handler. Handlers must possess a leash at all times while in the off-leash area and dogs must be leashed to enter and exit the park. Dog waste must be collected by the handler and placed in the provided receptacles. Food and dog treats are not permitted in the off-leash areas. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. We do not recommend that you bring small children or infants into the dog park for safety reasons. Handlers must be present with their dog(s) and keep them under visual and voice control at all times.
