PENN TRAFFORD SCHOOL DISTRICT-WIDE SCAVENGER HUNT FOR GRADE 7-12 STUDENTS AND ADULT DRIVERS
Saturday, November 6, 2010 - 1:30 pm check-in, 2:00 pm start, 4:30 pm return -
Penn-Trafford High School

Adults, at least 25 years of age, drive Grade 7-12 age teams on an amazing race throughout the Penn Trafford School District. Businesses and community organizations provide activities that must be completed throughout the area. Points are awarded for the least time, the least mileage, and the completion of each activity by the team members within the allotted time frame.

Food and cash prizes upon return
$300 1st place cash prize, $150 2nd place cash prize, $50 3rd place cash prize
Fee: $10 per occupant in the car including driver.
All occupants must have seat belts. T-shirt included.
Registration Deadline: Friday, October 29, 2010

Registration packets available in the Penn-Trafford High School Nurse’s Office, Middle School offices & the PTARC office in the Penn Township Municipal Building.

PTARC/SHELLEY PROSKIN RECREATION CENTER -- Route 130 & Murrysville Road, Level Green. Large multi-purpose room seating up to 149 and full kitchen. Available 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m., Friday & Saturday, for parties, showers, celebrations, meetings, meals, speakers! May be partitioned into 2 or 3 separate rooms seating 75 or 50 each. Click here for more information about our facilities available for rent.

PTARC (Penn-Trafford Area Recreation Commission) is a nonprofit, intergovernmental organization providing residents of the Penn-Trafford School District in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, with the opportunity for life-long learning, fitness, and fun through wholesome, affordable, recreational activities and safe, appealing facilities.

Three brochures are published per year -- fall, winter/spring, and summer. Brochures are mailed directly to each resident in the Penn-Trafford School District. Current offerings are also shown on this web site, www.ptarc.org.
